In the following days, a plethora of students from around the globe joined her #FridaysforFuture protests, skipping class on Fridays in protest of the effects of climate changes. Climate activists from across the world joined together to organize for the Global Strike for Climate. The Global Strike for Climate was an incredible success. Over 1.6 million participants took part in 125 countries.
