Jenna Fischer's most famous role was in the role of Pam Beesly from the popular TV show The Office. In appreciation of her performance, she received the Emmy award for the Best Actress in the Supporting Role. In addition, she won 2 SAG Awards.
The girl was born in Fort Wayne Indiana, she lived her entire childhood at St. Louis Missouri. Jenna's mother Anne was a performer in dramas at church when she was younger which sparked an interest in theater.
After finishing The Office, Fischer, an actress trained in theater, returned to her origins. The actress starred alongside Josh Hamilton Leslie Bibb Fred Weller in Neil LaBute's Off Broadway show Reasons for Being Happy. She then starred in Steve Martin's Meteor Shower - an absurdist production starring Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg - for the Old Globe Theatre's first world premiere.
In October 2019, Fischer and The Office actor and friend Angela Kinsey launched the podcast Office Ladies on the Earwolf platform. It has grown to been a huge success, landing on the Top Ten globally every week and receiving over 200 million downloads within its initial two years. In the beginning of January, 2021, Office Ladies won iHeart Radio's Podcast of the Year award.
The Actor's Life The Actor's Life is her first novel, and details the journey she took from St. Louis, Missouri to Hollywood and then to Hollywood, where she was an actress professionally. The second book, Office BFF's (co-authored by Angela Kinsey) is a memoir of her best friend and their experience working in The Office.
